Paying, refunds and retakes
Is the preview free?
Yes. You see your photo cropped and measured, with a watermark, before you pay. You pay only to download the full-size files.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is a one-time payment of $6.95 per person and document, plus $2.95 for each extra person or document in the same order.
How do I pay?
By card on Stripe’s secure checkout page. SelfieToPassport never sees or stores your card number.
What if my photo is rejected?
Make a new one with the same order: up to 3 photos for the same document within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are separate: any order can be refunded within 7 days of purchase, for any reason; after that, a turned-down photo is replaced, not refunded.
Can I make the photo again?
Up to 3 photos for the same document within 30 days of purchase. Open your order link on any device and choose a new photo.
What does the passport renewal form kit cost?
$4.95 on its own, or $3.95 added to a U.S. passport photo. It checks that Form DS-82 is the right form for you, fills it in from your answers in your browser, and gives you your State Department fee, the mailing address and a checklist. The form itself is free from the State Department, and the State Department’s passport fees are paid to it separately.
