Terms of use
Terms of use
By using SelfieToPassport you agree to these terms. In short: the tool sizes and checks your photo against published rules, the agency decides whether to accept it, and you can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
The service
SelfieToPassport crops, resizes and checks a photo you provide against the published photo rules for the document you choose, and gives you files to upload or print. The processing runs in your browser. The requirement pages are information, offered free.
SelfieToPassport is operated by Midbyte Tec., and these terms are an agreement between you and Midbyte Tec. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card statement shows MIDBYTE* SELFIEPASS.
No government affiliation, no promise of acceptance
SelfieToPassport is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of State or any government agency.
The agency that receives your application decides whether to accept your photo. We cannot promise acceptance, and nothing on the site is legal or immigration advice. You are responsible for checking that your application meets the agency’s current rules.
Your photo
Use a recent, unedited photo of yourself, or of a person you are allowed to act for, such as your child. Do not use the service to make a photo that misrepresents who a person is. Photos stay on your device; you are responsible for keeping your own copies.
Payments, retakes and refunds
Prices are in U.S. dollars and shown before you pay ($6.95 for one person and one document). Payment is processed by Stripe. Up to 3 photos for the same document within 30 days of purchase.
Full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Details are in the refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not try to get the full-size files without paying, interfere with the site, or copy the site’s content in bulk. We may refuse service to anyone who does.
Limits
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
