Is SelfieToPassport legit?
SelfieToPassport (selfietopassport.com) is a website that turns a phone photo into a passport or visa photo sized to the official rules. It is operated by Midbyte Tec. and it is not a government agency.
You pay once, through Stripe, only if you want the full-size files: there is no subscription and no recurring charge. Any order can be refunded in full within 7 days, and your photo is processed in your browser instead of being uploaded.
What it does and does not do
SelfieToPassport measures, crops and checks a photo you take or choose against the published photo rules of the document you pick (U.S. passport and visa photos, and documents of other countries such as the India e-Visa photo). It gives you a digital file to upload and print sheets.
- SelfieToPassport is not affiliated with any government agency.
- It does not issue passports or visas and does not submit applications.
- It does not replace the background of a photo and cannot promise that a photo will be accepted: the agency reviews every photo.

Privacy: your photo stays in your browser

Read the privacy policy.
Official sources
Every rule comes from the website of the agency that issues the document, such as the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov, with the link and the date we checked it on each page. See photo requirements by country and how we check the rules.
