Fees on Passport Online
The DFA calls Passport Online its quickest and most cost effective route; paper applications through the post cost more.
The rules
- A standard 10-year adult passport costs €75 on Passport Online. ireland.ie
- The Passport Card alone costs €35, and the passport plus card bundle €100. ireland.ie
- A 5-year passport for someone under 18 costs €20 online, plus a €5 postal fee per child application. ireland.ie
- Applicants who live outside Ireland pay an additional €15 postal fee. ireland.ie
- On the paper Post Passport Service, the adult passport costs €80 and the child one €30. ireland.ie
